To be honest, much of my expertise as a photographer developed from too many years of being a wallflower, watching life pass me by through the lens of my camera rather than actively participating. These days, I am more of a "reformed" wallflower, but the skills acquired from my former bad habit serve me very well as a photographer. I am unobtrusive, a keen observer, and have a knack for capturing the essence of a moment or an individual.

I welcome all types of portrait assignments (children, high school senior portraits, family, acting/modeling/band, commercial, etc.). Please note, I am not currently seeking wedding/event photography assignments.

My goal as your photographer isn't simply to make you or your family look good, but to portray something meaningful about who you are, defining beauty on your own terms. My approach is simple. I prefer shooting on location in your home or a favorite place because people tend to act more naturally in familiar settings and because your surroundings speak to who you are. Although flash is often necessary, I try to keep my equipment to a minimum and utilize natural lighting whenever possible. I want to be ready to move with you freely, the faithful bystander.
